Recommended Packing List
Insulated water bottle with a lid and handle (we have 5 5-gallon water dispensers that we fill water bottles to carry with us)
Sunblock lotion
Swim suit
Beach coverup
Sunglasses
A hat to shade the face from the sun
Flip flops
Snorkeling and/or diving equipment
Casual beach clothes are all you need while there. This is not a dressy or fancy place to dress up, so keep it simple; shorts and shirts work fine. I may wear a sundress out for dinner occasionally.
WiFi is available when at our house, but you will need an international (Central America) phone plan if you want to have cell service while on the island (AT&T has a $5 Latin America add-on plan).
Spending money – Most places take credit cards and like-new US dollars. Make sure your credit card can be used internationally. Bring crisp bills (no tears or writing on bills) only ($1’s, $5’s, and $10’s), because although they take US dollars they do not always have change in US dollars.
